During a hot stone massage, smooth, flat, heated stones are placed on specific parts of your body. The stones are usually made of basalt, a type of volcanic rock that retains heat. According to the University of New Hampshire Health Services, hot massage stones are heated to between 130 and 145 degrees.

I went to Alison for a neck & back massage. I had quite a stiff neck and shoulders for a few weeks now and even though I had been to my chiropractor for the pain I was experiencing , the stiffness was still present.
I had never been for a massage before so it was also my first time. I was very impressed. The room was clean and inviting, with calming music and soft lighting.

To help with a tingling sensation I have been experiencing in my heels, I have recently been having foot massages and I can say that they have been helping as the tingling sensation has not been intense.
Also I have had two Swedish body massages which I must say are performed very well by Alison. She is a a very professional lady and treats you with the utmost respect.
The room is always calming too.
Definitely recommend.
